Traditionally comprised of mixed repertoire, Brandywine Ballet’s Spring series has included Company performance debuts, world premieres, and Balanchine ballets. This Spring, the Company is pleased to present an exciting new, full-length ballet:Nancy Page’s Beauty and the Beast. Ms. Page has masterfully adapted this timeless fairy tale for the ballet stage. The production will feature captivating castle, village, and forest scenes that come to life with music, lighting, and a fanciful cast of townsfolk and forest animals, as well as a dancing teapot, clock, and feather dusters. Brandywine Ballet encourages you to join Belle as her story unfolds in a wonderfully spirited tale of adventure, friendship, loyalty, romance, and finding inner beauty.
