Brandywine
Ballet is proud of its outreach partnership with Art-Reach. Each
season, Brandywine Ballet provides Art-Reach with approximately 200 free
tickets to make the arts more accessible to underserved audience
members.Art-Reach
is a Delaware Valley nonprofit cultural service organization that helps
underserved audiences to experience arts and cultural programming and
that serves as a community resource by increasing accessibility to
cultural venues and events. Art Reach achieves their mission through
dynamic partnerships with over 45 local artists, 125 arts and cultural
organizations, and 180 human service agencies throughout the Delaware
Valley, including southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and southern New
Jersey, including Camden.
Each
year Art-Reach works with organizations to provide arts and cultural
opportunities to over 15,000 traditionally underserved audience members,
including people with disabilities, at-risk youth, the economically
disadvantaged, and the elderly in need. Art Reach is the only
organization in the region solely devoted to increasing cultural
participation among all underserved audiences. In addition, Art-Reach
serves as a public resource and advocate for cultural accessibility
while also helping cultural organizations to increase their outreach to
underserved communities, and diversify audiences.
